Coffin or casket?

The difference, in plain words

A coffin is the traditional shape: wider at the shoulders and narrower at the feet. It is the most common choice in Kenya and usually the most affordable. See our affordable coffins.

A casket is rectangular, often in polished hardwood with heavier handles. An American-style casket has a split lid so the upper half opens for viewing. See our mahogany and Mvuli caskets.
